What we know so far:
M. Night Shyamalan, director of the first The Last Airbender film, is reportedly signed on to write, direct and produce the second and third films in the series if they get green-lit. He wrote the spec-script for The Last Airbender 2 while production for the first film was being prepared. It will not likely go into production until late 2010, early 2011.
