M. Night Shyamalan visited Valley Forge Military Academy. According to his assistant, Lisa Liberati, Shyamalan was on campus doing researching for a new movie he is working on called “After Earth”. Liberati said that in the movie Jaden Smith will play a military cadet in the future.

Did we mention befor that M Night is co-writing a script. The new movie's script ("After Earth"?) is apparently a team up between him and another person, I think I heard the person wrote the book of Eli??
If the scripts good, it could maybe affect TLA2

I don't see TLA 2 happening. AFTER EARTH is shooting in January and will be released in June 2013. That would mean TLA would come out in 2015 at the earliest. Not happening.

Gee... that's too bad. Andrew Lesnie, the cinematographer who did the first TLA, has been busy since March this year shooting Peter Jackson's Hobbit in 3D at 48 fps. The second block of shooting in New Zealand began at the end of August and is expected to be finished in December. I was kinda hoping he's available to shoot TLA3 in January 2012.
