Maybe, as we inch closer to it's DVD release it's beginning to look like a possibility. :hmm: We'll just have to see.

I'm pretty dissapointed with the foreign numbers.
You're not your job. You're not how much money you have in the bank. You're not the car you drive. You're not the contents of your wallet. You're not your fucking khakis. You're the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world.

Preliminary numbers again on the foreign numbers... a little boost from BlackInk's country Sweden.

As such, the estimated worldwide gross are:

Domestic: $131,601,062 (41.79%)
+ Foreign: $183,300,000 (58.21%)
= Worldwide: $314,901,062

Hmm... the last country to open is Greece on October 28th. Even then, I don't think the final worldwide gross will be higher than $320M... but we did good! :D We beat GI JOE and Robin Hood!

Ya know, that's really good considering the majority of that audience is word of mouth or independent interest.
Probably everywhere the film has been universally panned by a critical media reaction ( for some reason but anyhow...), so to be universally derided yet notch up such a big total with an worldwide audience is rather unique i'd say.:)

One could wonder how much needs to spent on marketing for next time anyway, as that seems to be a lost battle for the last aribender, and just plough it straight into the second movie.
:D

After all, the audience for the first film will only grow over time.

That's the nice thing about movie franchises: with TV premieres, the previous movie(s) becomes the advertisement for the next one - Viacom may even make money from the TV commercials, especially with its PG rating. And some people wonder why old Harry Potter movies are on TVs just before the new one comes out. ;)

What's great about that is that they add in the deleted scenes AND we get marathons and special behind the scene features.
Biography Channel has been showing Behind the scene footage on the characters, how they found the actors/actresses and so on.
Hopefully Airbender gets the deleted scene edition treatment one day on Family Channel. That would be great! ;D

Good! I'm pleased with how much we've got :D and I paramount has less projects now, that means we should get a 2d movie.

either that or they don't love us anymore
