season 1 was more traditional japanese style whatever it's called, but not exact.
which really went together with the whole asian style theme of the show.

but he changed it as a sake of "im going to change who i am starting with my hur." i do like season 3 the best.

How did Zuko get healed so fast from Azula attacking him with lightning in the last book? When Aang got hit, he barely even got healed with Spirit Water. Zuko got healed with regular water faster than Aang healed with Spirit Water.

It's because Zuko partially redirected the lightning, but because of Azula's impromtu descion to zap Katara, Zuko also had to be a human shield. So I think the lightning hit him and didn't completly go through his stomach as it was supposed to, but it didn't hit his heart.

Aang on the other hand, was hit, I think, in the heart. Considering the slant that Azula would have had to hit Aang at because of how high up he was, it hit him in the back when it through to hit his heart, pretty much killing him. Katara's spirit water, really just restarted his heart. Beyond that, Aang was still pretty banged up and still needed further healing which I think he got.

Also Zuko's Last Agni kai scar is a little lower on his chest, not really near the heart. And if you notice, when Aang got hit, he was dead, Zuko on the other hand was still conscoious and alive, just hurt.

No, he wasn't dead. He was in the Avatar State. If an Avatar dies in the Avatar State the Avatar line ends forever (aka: No more Avatars, ie: Korra).

And I don't think that even in Avatar can someone be brought back from the dead.

Medically speaking, he was dead. His heart wasn't beating, he wasn't breathing. He was medically dead. Like I said, Katara's spirit water was able to restart Aang's heart and so he survived as did the Avatar cycle/spirit, so that's how we have Korra.

Remember, Aang did say that he didn't just get hurt, he was gone. We can take that to mean that he might have been dead (medically) for a few minutes.

Medical death like that happens in real life and sometimes the person can be resuscitated.

The gone part was when he was on the Lion Turtle and Jun's Shirshu couldn't find him. Thats always been unclear, but it has to do with his being on the LT, not death.

I don't remember Aang not breathing or his heart not beating. They didn't have a heart-meter on Appa. He was aliiiive.

When I refernced the gone thing. I was talking about in the Awakening episode when Katara was having a healing session with him and he remembers how he got struck. He said "I didn't just get hurt did I? I went down, I was gone!" Aang wasn't on the lion-turtle until after he'd been struck and they couldn't find him because the shirshu probably couldn't pick up Aang's scent because he was with something so ancient, that some believe it doesn't even exist.

He didn't look like he was breathing, and electrocution like that can cause heart failure. So for sure no heartbeat, and probably no breathing, because if your heart stops, you'll probably stop breathing not too long afterward. Like I said, he didn't look like he was breathing until Katara used the spirit water on him.
So there's still the medical death, but again Katara brought him back.
