The Firenation of the Avatar World is like the Japan of our world. They are always leaping forward techilogicaly.

Ummm... it's a comparison. to star wars. yeah of course they were technologically advanced....compared to the... egyptians. The weren't in the digital age just yet... and compared to where we are now (not even Star Wars), no they weren't technologically advanced.

OH..and btw.. we have 2 giant drills of that size. What do you think they used to drill underneath the English Channel (no not a TV station)?

Please. According to Wikipedia, the largest ever Tunnel Boring Machine in the world was 15.43m in diameter. No comparison to the one in The Drill.

And how do you know you need digital technology to test for midichlorians? For all you know, a simple pH test may do the trick.

No comparison? You've been next to the Firenation Drill?? You know it's diameters and actual size? BUT yeah...the one in The Drill was enormous...now that i think of it.

A pH test to find midichlorians....hahah..that's actually pretty funny! I can imagine Obi Wan holding up litmus paper to Anakin! hmmm...well... you can expand the Star Wars universe as much as you want according to what's good for you. But as far as i'm concerned...the only known way of finding levels of midichlorians is using that digital thingymajig and a droplet of Jedi blood!!! But we digress..

And in the UK and New Zealand, it's statistically significant (0.8% and 1.5%).

Just because Obi Wan used a digital midichlorian counter, doesn't mean there aren't simpler ways to check for midichlorians. We use digital thermometers and levels and calculators, doesn't mean there aren't analog ways of getting similar information.

Yeah you're right, there's probably a more simple and basic method of counting midichlorians than that digital counter Obi used.. i'm just saying we don't know how..we should ask the 1.5% in New Zealand! they should know!
