Who is your favorite character?

Ahhh.... I love the Avatar characters. But I'd have to say Zuko is my favorite. It was a joy seeing him progress. I knew he could do it! Even in the first season when he was "the bad guy" he was so deep! The Storm! Blue Spirit! The unconscious Aang talk in Siege of the North! And then the symbolism of cutting his top knot! AHHH! Then he was freakily good, then 'Zula came... Now I'm ranting.

Anywho. Zuzu forever.

I loved "the storm" After that episode You start to feel sorry for zuko. they managed to make you like the antagonist but his goals are... well.. evil! The backstory on Aang was good but the info about zuko was very surprising. most villains would be shrouded in mystery and just be the bad guy that you boo at whenever he shows up.

Totally! That's what makes Zuko amazing! You want to cheer him on until you realize that you CAN'T! It's these kind of split emotions that make Avatar great! Zuko proves he is such a great kid all the time! Like what got him banished in the first place! Standing up for what was right and decent! He makes me so proud. *feels like Uncle sometimes*

Mine kept switching the more I watched of the show.

Nowadays though I'd have to say Aang, full stop. He's just... awesome. A complete sweetie who kicks major butt when he needs to. Then second-favorite would be Mai, 'cause she's a ninja with killer sarcastic wit and she likes to play with sharp pointy things. (Like me! ) Zuko and Sokka tie for third.

Favorite character is Zuko followed closely by Aang. Zuko's character goes through so many changes from start to finish and Aang is just a sweet guy who remains that way despite everything that's happened to him.

All the characters are great. But when it comes down to it I love Iroh. He's awesome. They way he gives advice.

Wow, overall it seems like Zuko's winning hands down lol. And I have to join the flow. It's really hard to choose, but Zuko has the most interesting character plot arc. Plus I have a soft-spot for redemption-characters ^-^. After that everyone comes in a pretty close second, with maybe Iroh and Sokka coming a bit a head of the others.

It's actually hard for me to choose favorite characters, because what I really like are specific character interactions: Zuko and Iroh, Zuko and Aang, Katara and Toph and so forth. Some characters get better sparks off of others.

It all also sorta depends on who's on screen at the time ^-^

Sokka. Mostly because I love watching him master the sword. I'm working on sword techniques myself, and have always had a weakspot for swords. Plus, I love space and swords, so when Sokka got the Space Sword, I was like "OMG LUCKY!"

That's probably one of my favorite episodes ever. I mean, how can you beat a sword forged from a meteorite? Plus, Piandao just kicks so much ass.
