Who is your favorite character?

Sokka and Toph are my favorite characters. If you don't count them among the highest characters on your list, I do not respect your opinion. If they are not above Zuko and Katara I do not respect your opinion. That is all.

I actually do agree to some extent, though. Toph and Zuko are both liked for their badass aspect, but in all actuality, Sokka is probably more gooder than everyone combined. I mean, he doesn't bend and can't do stupid acrobatic crap like Suki. He's just a regular guy who works hard to keep up with all these extremely powerful kids.

That being said, I still think Toph is extremely badass, and I really admire her for her tomboyish personality and crudeness. These are qualities that I treasure in myself as well.

Maybe, but that doesn't mean she isn't one of the best characters. Some really good things have really annoying fans but those good things are good regardless.

I personally really like Toph in that she has a strong personality but it's believable. It's just enough to draw me in without being too cartoony. Sokka to me is the same way but with goofy humor. Maybe Jessie Flowers didn't do Toph super great at first. But I still like how these two characters bridge the gap between cartoon charactures and real people. That's something I never felt like Zuko was in the show. I never believed him as a person, not until season two at least. He's too hard edged and not believable enough for me.

I loved Toph for Team Avatar as well as Sokka. o.o (omg I'm so orginal!!) XD But, I also really like Ty Lee. I thought she was awesome and adorable.

She honestly doesn't get enough credit, and is too quickly deemed as a filler character due to her affinity towards a perky personality. I loved her because you could just tell she was so broken inside that over time, she forced herself to have a positive outlook on life. Oof, right in the feels.

We caught a glimpse of her pain in 'The Beach'. I do think that her perky personality was over-compensation for her inner turmoil, but we all react in different ways to inner turmoil. I do agree that she and Mai were very powerful fighters, and they showed how powerful non-benders can be!

My favorite characters are, in no particular order, Uncle Iroh, Zuko, Toph, Sokka, FireLord Ozai, Appa and Momo.
