Ugh, it seems so unoriginal at this point but I have to say Zuko is certainly at the top of the list if not my favorite. I had always thought he was cool but when I watched the episode "The Beach" at a time where I was quite frankly angry without any idea as to why. I thought for awhile and realized I had the same problem, my anger had branched from the annoyance and at times confusing personalities of people around me influencing what I would do or what they wanted me to do. I just started drawing connections and realized Zuko is a character that is extremely easy to attach to and understand because so many of his problems (as an idea, not literal comparisons) are problems many teenage guys (and even some of the issues for anyone) have to deal with.

Other than that I have to say the Foaming Mouth Guy. To me he was just so ridiculously out there and random that it made some moments for me. I'm not saying I sat there and freaked out like a toddler, but I was just like this is classic over the top comedy that illustrates how this show decides to embody all aspects of a great show, including making fun of itself in a sense.

I would have to say that Aang is my favorite. Well, you could have guessed, considering my name is based off of him! He's my favorite though because, just like Zuko, he's had many struggles. I mean, sometimes I feel Zuko if overrated. Don't get me wrong, I really like him, but everyone knows the true hero is the Avatar! He's grown the most throughout the series, too. I remember at the beginning he was a fun-loving, energetic kid. At the end of the show, he was kicking the butts of everyone, including ruthless, strong men with six-packs named Ozai!! He's the best, in my opinion.

"The real hero is the Avatar" Yep, that was in there for a reason ;)

I like the whole GAang, but my favorites are Katara and Aang (wow, look at the username). I love them both individually, but I also love them together :D Sokka and Toph are pretty awesome, too. They're both hilarious, plus Toph can kick almost anyone's butt ^.^ Zuko is cool... after DoBS I had a lot of respect for him. I don't like him as much as I could though. Mostly because there are just too many rabid fangirls out there who are like, "ZoMG, he is lyk sooOo HAWT!11!1" So yeah, I blame the fandom on that one :)

at first it was aang but when azula came i had to have her as my favorite cause everything she does is epic and psychotic. she is what i call a pure evil cold hearted villain. i laughed at the last part of Sozin comet when katara chained azula and she started hysterically crying...reminds me of myself when i wouldn't want to go to school.

Azula has gigantic tears..Reminds me of a few of Hayao Miyazaki's movies (Course, as we all know, Mike and Bryan loved Miyazaki movies), like Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle, which had like a scene where the main characters had like humongous gobs of tears.

^ OH yeah the same thing was running threw my head
whenever I watched her cry. But, i mean it was pretty epic, it finally
showed that she wasn't a robot after all. haha.

So she'll always be my favorite character in my book, as I already
probably mentioned that earlier. I love complex characters

She's sent to a mental health facility. An asylum.

The odd's of someone as infamous as her staying in an Asylum for the rest of her life is unlikely. Someone could break her out, she could break out, or maybe be rehabilitated. All I know is she was too crazy to stay like that forever. For some reason I feel she actually was helped though. There was just this whole vibe of if enough people cared about her but kept her in line maybe she could get along with people. I may seem hopeful, but when she cried out the end of the finale I was like woah...that's definitely a personality with some issues but common ones at that, at least to us in these modern ages. I mean her behavior could pretty easily be helped by someone special. That just my two cents though :geek:

I think she stayed the same. It seems near impossible to "cure" someone who has been brought up that way. All her life, she used fear to control people.
Manipulation and greed is her nature.

Well, I'm gonna miss her
When I get home
But right now I'm on this lake shore
And I'm sitting in the sun
I'm sure it'll hit me
when I walk through that door tonight
Oh looky there...I've got a bite!
