I will go to the mat defending the choice of Dev for Zuko. He is the sh*t. Also, he is not 33 and kind of... hefty. (Not fat, just a wider-set build than Zuko should be.) I am sorry, Dante would have made an awesome live-action Zuko circa Hook, but now? No.

I absolutely loved him in Hook.

I also like him in Take the Lead, where he indulges in a three-way tango, and But I'm a Cheerleader, where he plays a gay boy whose parents sent him to one of those de-gay-ifying religious camps. Adorable movie ^-^

That movie was pretty awesome, and he was pretty funny in it, though it was straight out of a stereotype catalog. Not exactly a challenging role.

Dante is just one of those actors who stands out in everything that he does....His voice, however was one of the key factors that helped add to his success. I could spot that voice from a crowd of thousands its so unique. I really hope he can snag some larger roles in his future. He has and utilizes SO MUCH POTENTIAL.

I was watching American Dragon Jake Long yesterday and his voice is much more 'higher' than in avatar, or well thats what I thought lol. I guess it's cause Jake Long is totally the opposite of Zuko

and isn't it a weird coincdence that both mae whitman and dante basco were in avatar and jake long

I like just realized a few weeks ago that Dante played Jake Long. lmao, and I used to watch American Dragon too...I couldn't believe I didn't recognize his voice before.
