Harry Potter

Postby trailerman on Fri May 22, 2009 10:39 am

The sixth movie of the great saga - Harry Potter will air this Summer. After seeing the trailer, reading the book and seeing a scene - it shows how the atmosphere of the movie changes - in a darker one.
The sixth book was my favourite, and the final trailer was just awesome ! I wait very much from this movie.
Plot :

Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry suspects that dangers may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. Together they work to find the key to unlock Voldemort's defenses and, to this end, Dumbledore recruits his old friend and colleague, the well-connected and unsuspecting bon vivant Professor Horace Slughorn, whom he believes holds crucial information.

Meanwhile, the students are under attack from a very different adversary as teenage hormones rage across the ramparts. Harry finds himself increasingly drawn to Ginny, and so is Dean Thomas. Lavender Brown has decided that Ron is the one for her, only she hasn’t counted on Romilda Vane’s chocolates. Then there’s Hermione, simmering with jealousy but determined not to show her feelings. As romance blossoms, one student remains aloof. He is determined to make his mark, albeit a dark one. Love is in the air, but tragedy lies ahead, and Hogwarts may never be the same again

What do you think about this movie ?

I haven't been too terribly impressed with the Harry Potter films so far, but the trailer for this one does look promising. What I'm really excited to see (and really really hope they get right) are the flashback scenes with Voldy as a child.

And the Inferi... I have a feeling, judging from the dark feel to the previews, that this scene is going to be seriously cool. ;)

I AM OVEREXCITED FOR HBP.
BEYOND EXCITED.
I'M GOING DRESSED UP TO THE MIDNIGHT PREMIERE AND EVERYTHING.
I've been keeping up with things on Mugglenet.com and from the looks of the filming pictures of Deathly Hallows, the last 2 movies are going to be kick ass aswell

I am, and have been... one of the longest and craziest Harry Potter fans (well, at least here in Mexico).

Reaction right now: I CAN`T WAIT! THE COUNTDOWNS ARE DRIVING ME CRAZY! I WANT TO SEE THIS FILM SO BADLY!!!!

Aside from that, I have absolutely loved the way the series has developed since the third film (yey Cuaron!!!), and allthugh the fifth film gave me a neutral reaction at first I have, wit time, grown my love for it.

I have complete confidence in the director and actors, this film will ABSOLUTELY ROCK!

I just hope Nicolas Hooper will have a score that isn't as "empty" as the fifth one. It just had too much voids in it and not enough music...

I'll be in costume at 12:00 at the theaters!!!!!!!!

I am totally psyched for HP6! Most anticipated movie of the summer for me. The fifth and third ones are my favorite. Hooper's score for 5 was pretty good I thought, but not as good as William's score of 3, which had a folky, medieval sound kinda.

Absolutely agree. I loved John's work much more. They had a magical atmosphere inside. Hooper is alright but - not maestro Williams.
By the way from all 5 films my favourite is the third.

Wow, we three agree!!!

The Medieval Touch in Prisioner of Azkaban was indeed dazzling... and Double Trouble is now stuck in my head...

My favorite film is of course the third!!! Cuaron's master piece. What I loved about it was the magical world, Hogwarts felt and WAS alive, magical details flying everywhere and of course some wicked transitions.
