See a lot of guys like movies just because of action and special effects. I'm one of them. I can understand why some people wouldn't like this if it's just nice to look at. I will find out myself tomorrow.

But what if it is so great only on IMAX or Digital 3D ?
I've went to the premiere to IMAX of course. Mindblowing ! But I wondered if it's so awesome in a simple cinema. And it wasn't ! How can it be one of the greatest movies if you can't watch it on a simple TV ?

I'd much rather see a good film with a good story, that isn't in every other friggin film, than eye candy...-shrug-

But it is such ARTFUL eye candy! Don't get me wrong, the story isn't stupid or even bad, it's just cliched and predictable. I mean, so if your standard Disney movie, but that doesn't mean they're not fun for what they are. I haven't seen The Princess and the Frog yet, but I bet it's not reinventing the Disney movie plot archetype. This movie really feels like it's transporting your to another world, more so than any other movie before it. It's a fantastic experience and you enjoy it and don't walk out of the theater feeling stupid either.

Amazing movie.
