Oh and I would like to think that Meelo and Wei Bei are the fire and earthbenders that help Korra master those elements

Pretty sure we already know that Korra has mastered firebending and earthbending as of the beginning of the series.

regardless, i am pretty sure the air nomads has been reestablished and korra simply chose tenzin to be her teacher kind of the same way aang chose toph to be his own

It's not aggression, it's telling you why you are wrong. You're misreading the tone.
There is nothing to suggest that the air nomads have been reestablished unless Aang considered it his duty to get really ~busy~ for the duration of his life following the war. Which I can't really see him doing.
People can't just decide to be airbenders. That would negate the significance of the title of the first series.

you have to consider the fact that no one would be able to learn airbending since pretty much all the air nomad were killed in the beginning of the war

That's right. No one except Tenzin.

If Aang could have taught somebody how to airbend... why wouldn't he teach Sokka or something? some1 throughout the series would have surely been taught if it was possible, or at least i assume that... why would Aang wait and extra year when he could teach people in his *way underestimated* amount of spare time?

And his nieces and nephews. Come on, Aang's gotta repopulate a nation. Ya think he'll only have one kid?

Haha of course and his other kids if he did have any. But all we know so far that he's had Tenzin... so let's see.

I feel like Aang could have more than one kid.. of course Tenzin could be the only air bender
but I consider the fact, that there could be 1 or 2 more that are be water benders..
and I feel pretty sure that Tenzin has at least one kid.. Come on he's in his 50-60's and he's possibly the last airbender now.. he just must have to continue the growth of airbenders.. unless he's kinda loner and doesn't go much outside in the public.. >.>

but actually..
the fact that the original Airbenders learned to Airbend from watching the Sky Bison, it is possible that a new race of Airbenders could be established the same way. Appa could potentially help start a whole new race of Airbenders.. that could be possible

The problem with that theory is that it has a few loopholes. Alright, so say some people have the genetic potential to be Airbenders, Waterbenders, Earhbenders or Firebenders. This is the Era before the Avatar btw. How do they know which animals to go learn it from? What if some person is trying to learn Firebending from the dragons, can't, but never knows that he or she is actually supposed to go to the badgermoles for Earthbending?

Thats why I think that them learning from the animals is just legends.

In that case yeah If no one tells them hey go learn earthbending from badgermoles then they don't know..
but If in this case Aang already knows that Airbenders learned airbending from flying bison and luckily he has one.. so I don't see the problem.. and how's that legend ? It's not like it's speculation that fans made up it's the way it always has been..

@Vanja: They are probably able to tell beforehand whether or not they're benders. If they don't have a test to find out, then there's most likely some accidental bending going on in the four or five years before they start learning. Katara demonstrates that, as the Fire Nation knew that she was a waterbender when she was little, obviously meaning that news got out in the SWT that she was and it traveled to someone's ears outside the water tribe. (Who then alerted the Fire Nation/Southern Raiders.)
