The Chat Room

In an attempt to control my random posts that tend to end up off topic i was wondering if it were possible to get a chat room feature actually built into the forums. Since we have to choose between the forums or the chat room (which seems to be more of a shout box not an actual chat room) there's hardly anyone chatting at the same time. But there's almost always a few people on the forums. Just a thought.

Absolutely agree. A chat Room at the bottom of the forum would be useful. Most of people spend their time in the forum, so the CR remains empty.

That's a great suggestion, Mac. I hope that's feasible. It's funny how there can be 10 users on the forum at a time and the chat room can be left completely empty.
Anyway, just adding my support to that idea. *adds support*

Here's the thing though...the chat room...um, it's just a way of people who aren't members on the forums to be retards. Seriously.

It's quite annoying actually. It never ceases to amaze me how many times I see manifestations of pure stupid in the chatroom.

So then why does it exist? I wouldn't mind talking with those people if it meant I didn't have to leave the forum or have 2 windows open at the same time. And User 543 is right.

Yes, he may be right, but the purpose of a chatroom is pretty pointless if you ask me. I mean, we're all here. On the forums. Whatever we discuss or talk about there has been most likely discussed here. If people want to chat with other users use AIM, or MSN, or Skype.
