The Legend of Korra is my new favorite american manga anime.
You're not your job. You're not how much money you have in the bank. You're not the car you drive. You're not the contents of your wallet. You're not your fucking khakis. You're the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world.

I don't know what you are talking about. The Legend of Korra is like my new favorite Manga!

Dude, Manga means Japanese comics. You mustn't be Asian, eh?

1) He/She was joking
2) Are you saying only Asians are supposed to know what Manga is supposed to mean?!?
3) STOP DOUBLE/TRIPLE POSTING

I liked Book One Air Chapter Two A Leaf In The Wind. I liked it so much I watched it about 4 times. There is a very turn of the century feel to the series. It is pretty cool to see how Airbending is taught.

I got goosebumps watching that 3 second animation of MAKO DOMINATING in pro-bending. He throws a right, then two round houses, and finishes it off with a double dragon punch.

Awesome.

Protip: if you're going to use "black people" you might as well use "white people" as well. Else, I'd say it's kind of weird to make that sort of semantic distinction.

I think I liked The Last Airbender better... but I dunno. That show put the stakes pretty high for LOK to match, I suppose.
I friggin' love Zuko. He's the coolest on the show! Also, I'm a Christian. A very strong Christian.

Does that mean it's strange when I say Cauco-americans & the darks? Or Hispanish & Ching-chang McSquintyeyes?

Those phrases are strange but not because of what I said to TophBeifong. Those phrases are strange because people don't ever normally say things like that. Of course, you have sense enough to figure that out for yourself, so I wonder why you'd be asking such a silly question?

Actually, isn't TLOK animated in Korea?

Edit: according to Animation Magazine, Studio Mir is working on the show. http://www.animationmagazine.net/tv/korra-the-next-airbender/ about 3/4 of the way down the page.

I like Mako and Bolin, I like the dynamic of having bending brothers, especially with different bending abilities, but I worry that their going to turn the brothers and Korra into a Arthur/Lancelot/Guinevere story. That could really end up killing the impact the story has had so far, especially in the name of girl power.
