June and Ursa, the theory.

I find the idea that Zuko was maybe Iroh's son rather interesting. I also find the June theory very interesting. But I don't really see it working out as both, because you have to remember that June did seem a little annoyed that Iroh was just pertending to be paralyzed to be near her, June being Ursa and Ursa having an affair with Iroh could explain Iroh's like of June, but not June's dislike of Iroh (and even insulting his weight). I think both theories could be possible though.

Actually it can, maybe June didn't want Iroh to flirt too much, because maybe she was scared it would blow her cover.

I really love the idea of Ursa being June. I think that, if you combine several of the previously stated theories, it's entirely plausible.

I can't see Ursa as a murderer unless she were defending one of her kids, especially Zuko. It's very easy for me to see Ursa and Ozai getting into a huge fight with Ursa admitting that Zuko is Iroh's. If Zuko is Iroh's, then Ozai is 4th in line to the throne. I've always entertained the thought that Lu Ten's death wasn't so much battle-related as it may have been an elimination orchestrated by Ozai.

For the sake of this scenario, I don't think that Iroh knows for sure about Ozai's hand in Lu Ten's death, but he has a feeling. For all we know, he's coming home to abdicate his claim to the throne as his position as first-born may have cost him his son.

Now, I'm not sure that Iroh knows Zuko is his son. Actually, I'm pretty sure he doesn't, and he might even believe that his fatherly feelings for Zuko are because he's a surrogate for Lu Ten. Of course, Ursa's not telling anybody as she knows that Zuko would probably meet with a fatal accident. But then, Zuko lives after Ursa leaves, so she must have some good stuff on Ozai that keeps her son alive. Why Ozai doesn't just kill Ursa is a mystery...unless, somewhere in that black heart of his, he really loves her. Hence, her banishment.

Ozai probably feels that Ursa (and, later on, Zuko) won't survive her banishment. Surprise! She learns to fight, becomes independent, and, in due time, takes on the persona of a tough, coarse bounty hunter. Now that I think about it, Ozai knows about June. Why else would he make the comment to Zuko about banishment being far too merciful? The tactic failed, not once, but twice. Zuko learns his destiny and joins the Avatar. Ursa becomes bad-a** June.

June's interactions with Zuko have to be guarded as she might endanger Zuko. Iroh's instant and (imo) intense attraction makes more sense. June's frown when she's laying on Iroh...consternation that he may blow her cover.

Yeah...it's speculation mixed with wishful thinking, but I can totally see this going down.

Although I really think this theory is possible, I've come up with another idea.
I don't have a lot of evidence, but I just wanted to know your opinions!
Just in a few words:

Ursa loved Iroh, Iroh loved Ursa, they had a baby, Zuko, but Ozai thought it was his, but it was Iroh's.
So Ozai found out, and banished Ursa for the betrayel.
Not just out of the firenation, but to the spiritworld.
I thought of this because Iroh must've gone to the spiritworld for something, and because Azula saw Ursa on the end of the series as a sort of a ghost.

I can't explain why she doesn't reveal herself to Zuko though, so my theory doesn't fit yet..

Ursa was in the Fire Nation colonies in the Earth Kingdom under Ozai's surveillance to make sure that she couldn't tell anyone how he became Fire Lord.Banishment made her stronger and possibly she had a personality that was closer to June's.

Although all your theories do make sense, and although they are persuading me to believe that this June/Ursa thing is true. I'm pretty sure it isn't.

June looks pretty young, a bit too young to be Ursa. Although, it isn't such a difference that it would be impossible to believe. However, the relation with the Greek/Roman gods and Olympus and all that, it seems way too complex. Avatar: The Last Airbender was meant to be a children's show on Nickelodeon. If they had indeed intended for it to be that way, they would have made the hints way more obvious.

If this was true though, it would be awesome.
