My mother is Scottish,Irish, African American, and Cherokee. What's sad is around here people from the other tribes look at you and say "That doesn't count. You're just white man's Indian what a shame." So I just stopped discussing it. -.-

My father is Swedish (1/2 even), Scottish,Irish, Welsh, and English. He's a direct descendant of a Welsh king. Which was kind of cool to find out.

Seriously? That's cool. Zamora is a last name that originated in Wales and when I actually realized that I could be English in a very minor way, I was giddy with joy.

I don't blame them. After Dances With Wolves came out like 20 years ago, you couldn't trip with falling on to a white person talking about their 1/16 Native American heritage. I could see where that would be obnoxious to Native Americans who, y'know, grew up on reservations with their tribes and stuff.

Apparently I must be related to an english family named "Gordon" somewhere because some white men must have moved to jamaica way back when and married a black woman or two along the way. I have so many light skinned people in my family, we must have some white mixed in there somewhere.....me not so much! My mom's a full blooded african american, so...yup! im 50-50 XDD , cause African American and Afro Carribbean are two different things!

I recently found out about one of my viking ancestors.

We are not sure of his name, but his title was Head Splitter.

Monks wrote about how he could cleave a man completely in two with his battle axe. From the top if his head down to his crotch. The also wrote about how he killed their abbot by punching him in the skull, collapsing it in and then tearing it apart with his bare hands. Just thought I should share this with you guys.

(As a side note, vikings don't really wear those stupid hats with two horns. Sometimes they went nude into combat.)
