its so complicated with my family, they dont argue in front of us but theres enought tension that i can tell they hate each other, and its weird cuz i obviously love my mom but the rest of my family hates her, so its extremely awkward and depressing.

my parents are the some way. when i was little i saw my parents fight physcailly like with fists and throwing thing's at each other. my dad one time got so angry that out of no where he hit me and other stuff and some times my mom too. its very hard cuase i was so confused but what can i say?....nothing

Thats pretty terrible shifs, im not sure if my parents got physical, but my mom alleges that my dad choked her.

My parents are still happily married, I have an aunt and uncle though who are also happily married, but their ex's out of nowhere are trying to get custody of the kids that they had together. There's basically 3 parties of kids here, the one kid on my uncles side, the 3 kids on my aunts side, then the 2 kids they had together. This whole thing is really tearing my entire family apart because my uncle can't be around any of the kids unless they're the two he had with his new spouse. Unless he has visitation rights, so we have to watch certain parties of kids several times a week. Which in and of itself isn't really a problem considering how often they used to visit before all this trouble, but these aren't actual visits anymore, they're just babysittings that last anywhere from 10 minutes to several hours. The stupidest part is that my grandma who practically raised one of the kids has a restraining order too. She wasn't able to come to our thanksgiving family reunion because of it.

That's terrible, hope that gets fixed soon, courts REALLY drag stuff out though. If my dad, since i know my mom wont, has a kid with his girlfreind, I'm going to kill it, i do NOT want him trying to start another family, it would be so messed up of him to think that'd be ok with us, my sister and i.

Thankfully, my parents have a fantastic marriage that has lasted for 17(?I believe?) years, and they have no intentions on ever getting a divorce.
