I was the first to mention it. I saw it in one of Marshall's old Twitter updates or something similar to it, I think.
They wanted African-Americans to help make up the Earth Kingdom along with Korean and Vietnamese people.

We don't know that it's "primarily" either one. We just know that the Earth Kingdom cast will be made up of East Asian and African Americans.

Your right she is white, and I hope they are open to all origins! Cause I'm english, but my mum is suspisous of my dad's family being slitly Asian.

Uh, yeah. And Katara and Sokka's skin is brown. If a white Katara and Sokka is on the table, so is a black Toph.
