Hey everyone! I just wanted to ask to please keep informing your friends about the petition BTW I sent an email 2 Paramount Pictures Australia...Well Atleast i think I did...Can anyone confirm an email/Mailing address to them for me? I sent the letter over a week ago and havent gotten enything...Im starting to get doubts about the source that gave me the address (208 Clarence St, Sydney, NSW 2000) Either they havent recieved it and I had the wrong address, Or...I might just be really impatient bout it...?? Well you guys can decide! BTW Thanks soo much for supporting my petition to all my fellow avatards!

WOW. I havent been on this thread for ages... .
well for all my Aussie friends, I think I might've found our ticket to heaven.
I always go to these private screenings to movies before they come out. If it's a worldwide release we only get to see it a few days before but if it's like airbender how we have to wait a few months they could do a screening in July! But theres a SLIGHT possibility that we might not see it. We HAVE TO CONVICE/PERSUADE THESE PEOPLE TO DO AIRBENDER IN JULY! this is where I get free screenings. The Last 1 I went to see was Kick Ass which was really funny. BTW I forgot to mention u dont have to pay for tickets! Its sent to ur mobile and all u have to do is show them your text that u got from them. So Ive already made a thread for it and I ask that as MANY OF U AVATARDS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD help me with this!

this petition should include New Zealand as well, we are both getting screwed over with these September release dates which is weird considering it was originally listed as a July release

Two months is just silly, they might as well ask people to download it illegally off the internet. I don't know why studios don't try to release the films closer together. Greece doesn't get it until October, and that has me baffled because all the countries around it get it much sooner. It's not like they couldn't ship it there in that amount time. I didn't realize Greek was some dead language no one spoke and was so challenging to translate?

And Australia is just a boomerang's throw from Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines. Why is it getting to them weeks before our Aussie friends.



It doesn't need to be translated. Unless they are planning on making "Hello my good hotman" into "G'day my fire nation mate." Why can't it be flown over as is? It must be something to do with marketing and money, but with the number of people downloading films for free two months seems too long. We are likely to have a scenario where The Last Airbender is the in-flight movie on the way to Australia before it is released there.

I agree, I wonder if they put it on the planes before the movie releases in australia. I honestly dont understand. They're not translating it, because last year in June I went to see transformers and it was all in american so they dont translate enyfin. I HATE PARAMOUNT for doing this. Kids still have a week to watch airbender on the July holidays. The June 8 was the best option or if not they should release it on July 1. Because all films in AU come out on Thursdays.
