Well, I'd Still like to see Zoe get the role, but knowing Hollywood, I bet someone like Miranda Cosgrove will get the role. I can just see it happening. Don't get me wrong, Miranda is a fine actress, but I'd like to see at least one asian in Team Avatar, and Toph Bei Fong is a very Asian character.

Seeing as how I have a crush on Miranda Cosgrove, I wouldn't mind her in it but I'd prefer an Asian Toph.

I have to admit, I never understood the upset about the races in the cast members. My main concern with the actor is can they portray the character correctly? If a character was originally white, but the actor that's perfect for the role is black than I want the black actor that's perfect for the role. So far I haven't seen an actor cast in this that I didn't think could play the part. It would be awesome if Toph was an asian actress, but as long as she's Toph that'll be enough for me.

I'm not familiar enough with child actors to guess at someone that would be good, but I'd like an unknown, either only small roles or no roles at all previous to this. I like new talent, especially since I won't be as distracted with thinking "where have I seen them before?" while watching the movie.

agreed ^.^ Im sure there is an amazing toph out there somewhere...plus if there are too many "Big Name" stars..it only reminds me that this worl really is fictional.
