New superman movie

Suprised this doesn't have a thread what are your thought's about this new film? they want a christmas relase date in 2012 so i gotta know would you see it? what changes shoul be made? with nolan godfathering this is it good or bad?.

When David S. Goyer (who is writing the script) tells the director of The Dark Knight, "I know how you would approach Superman" and he gets excited - that is most definitely a good thing!

I can't wait to learn more.

Nolan is good director(or autheur).All his movies so far was either good or great.So for me-it's a good thing.

All I know is that Nolan is excecutive produce, David S. Goyer is writing and Jonothan Nolan (Chris Nolan's brother) is probably attached to direct.

I hope it is epic. Meaning no Lex Luthor as head villain, maybe someone like Darkseid or Brianiac. Someone to really give Superman a run for his money. Something that threatens the whole planet would be great for Superman. Lex Luthor would be a good supporting character, but please, for the love of God, do NOT make him the villain.

I just want to see Superman trade blows with some kind of villain or a villain's big robot henchman or something.

This project gets me exited. I'm hoping for Doomsday as a villain. And if not in this, then the next one.

I'm concerned about the film it sounds fun but i would have rather enjoyed a superman film with the orgin explored i had the idea that in the pre credit's sequence you show the planet and his parent's really fast before it blows up like showing jor el pleading for them to listen and referencing braniac but as the "brain interactive construct" then them putting baby supes in the pod and launching it.hen mabey show comic book like scenes of superman as a baby with the kent's and him jumping accros a field flying ya know the works then have lex a secondary character but he still runs the show by having metallo become a villain i think it could work but they're idea sounds cool to i guess.

I don't like DC comics as much as Marvel, and didn't really like Superman, but Nolan is the guarantee.

I agree on the marvel thing i never enjoyed but certain part's of dc gl flash wonder woman and most of all superman and batman but marvel have character's who face normal problems.My only wish is that marvel would tak more risk and do something along the lines of superman doomsday or when greenlanturn went insane and killed the corps it just doesn't make any sense why they can't do something like that.
