I hope that it ends up being a good experience for him, he's only 4 and I think no matter what He will enjoy seeing all the charachters he loves in action. H edoesn't even know what pacing is. But I am fearfull of the behavior of the rest of the audience. Then again if I go to a Sunday Matinee we may have the whole place to ourselves.
Please, I am begging you...
from one parent to another...
DO NOT TAKE YOUR 4 YEAR OLD TO WATCH THIS MOVIE!!!
Especially if its going to be his first theatre experience.
This movie is rated PG,
but there is not enough Parental Guidance to help him with his depression he will feel after leaving the theatre.
This movie is really dark and depressing.
The total opposite of what the light-hearted animated series expressed.
I went with my friend who brought his 6 year old
and his son wanted to leave after seeing how scary Appa and Momo looked.
My kid is 12 and all he did was complain about all the changes.
If you want your son to have a good first-time theatre experience
take him to watch Toy Story 3.
Its Rated G and its so far... the movie of the year.
