Hate to say I expected this...Re-adaptation?

Long time no see cookies.
Umm yeah, I honestly knew that this movie would be disappointing.
Part of me was rooting for it to fail because of the casting but in the end its sad.
M. Night has reached a low point in his career, even the trailer for the movie "Devil" was laughed at at a film festival because it involves M.Night.
Personally I warned alot of my friends not to see it, they went to the mid night premiere. I am AN ADAMANT Avatar fan and I understood their urgency, but only I and a few people expected it.
My friends cursed at the screen, people booed in the movie theater and people walked out (youtube vid)
I just want to know if anyone else expected this. Its sad that another of my favorite series(ex; Dragonball Evolution) turned out to be another failed adaptation.
I really hope in the future when I'm an adult, they will re-make this film maybe not as a Hollywood film but somewhere else where the fans will be given justice. Too many people are angry and disappointed, having the fans wholeheartedly support the film creates fever and creates more fans. (Like Twilight)
Who agrees?

Jesus Christ, I thought we'd got to the last of these.
