anyways, i havent checked Toys R Us TLA action figures. ive only seen Toy Kingdom's....are they the same? if not, which one is better? :)

They actually have a couple of Jollibee stores in the States (as seen in one episode of "Glee") and a couple more in other parts of the world.

Anyway, yeah. The Toys R Us and Toy Kingdom action figures are pretty much the same. Some Toy Kingdom branches to this day still don't have them though. ;)

McDonald's toy probed after Connecticut safety complaint

HARTFORD, Conn. — Federal consumer safety officials are investigating a complaint that a 4-year-old Connecticut boy nearly strangled himself with a toy from a McDonald's Happy Meal.

Connecticut consumer protection Commissioner Jerry Farrell Jr. said today that the boy from the New London area put the "Last Airbender Katara" bracelet-like toy around his neck June 30 and began to lose consciousness. He says his mother removed it before any serious harm was done.

A spokeswoman for the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said today that the agency was investigating. McDonald's says that the promotion ended July 22 and that the toy meets all requirements.

The mother says she didn't call 911 because the boy appeared to be fine afterward.

The investigation comes nearly two months after McDonald's recalled nearly 12 million cadmium-tainted "Shrek" drinking glasses.

Ok I'm sorry but this is silly. I never did crap like this when I was a kid.

This article just means that parents need to teach their kids not to do stupid stuff like put CHILD sized bracelets around their necks. What do you think is gonna happen?

And as far as my collection: I'm still missing 2 so ebay has become a new friend of mine.

This incident just tried to warn some parents on managing their children on playing with toys. But I believe that they should not ban those toys in the whole chain. It should just be separated in the meal or a separate boot for buying them would be better.
