Yes, based on the leaked clips we could assume it could be about probending and or the completion of love between Mako, Bolin, Korra and Asami.
If you'be seen the leaked clip hopefully you'll understand what I mean.

Guys, maybe they're trying to get the probending games/championship out of the way so then the remaining episodes will deal with Korra setting things right with Amon and the spiritual side of being the avatar. Sure, the probending is sometimes a bit much and I feel as though they should foucus a bit more on the other aspects of the show but we don't know their plan. So, just wait.

I really liked this episode. Guys be patient i think it's fun so far. I hear that the next episode will deal with Probending again but also with Amon. It sounds very exciting if you know the details. Plus episode 7 is called 'The Aftermath' which i'm guessing means that something happens at the end of 6 that's big.

5th ep was like I´ve predicted... it does not add anything at all, more like "walking in circles" type of episode, but lets make clear that this is not my complaint, even good animes (LOK is fully inspired in anime way of storytelling thats why I keep comparing) have this kinda ep, but I must say...

... LOK totally lacks what is known as "the quest", usually is "something" that they must pursuit, something which lead their efforts and thoughts for. I also missed those parallels histories which enrichs the sense of world full of life, not just surrounds main characters.
I know its just 5th ep (20% ?) but I wish they start making serious progress. (fingers crossed)

Well, what it sounds like you're saying in simiplier terms is LOK is lacking the depth and story etc of ATLA. Well, no duh. It's a miniseries it's not going to have 3 full seasons so in can go into great detail of the plot line/characters etc. They're not gonna have grand adventures like in ATLA. Secondly, like everyone else is saying,It's only the fifth episode, give it time. I'm pretty sure the "quest" of which you speak of is defeating Amon/ restoring balance Republic City. Lastly, the creators made it pretty clear that they want LOK to be something totally different of ATLA. They want it to be something of its own.

you are right when you say that I love rich histories and deeper characters, I watched animes, when it gets plain and simple it becomes boring to me and I cant avoid this feeling.

predictions for 6th ep: probending finals, the event of the year, millions watching in their cable tvs, unfortunately Korra team will be beaten, but winners wont have time to celebrate, due to this large audience some masked guy will appear and will disqualify then like... forever.

just started watching LOK and im loving the new style of directing, the different angles used during the fight scenes make it so much more exciting although the storyline is not doing it for me, seriously where is it going? In my opion the animation is quite good but i still preffer ATLA's solid lines where as LOK's animation is too rough and skechy for me. Overall LOK is riding on ATLA's name it was supposed to be a show of its own but it seems like its going nowhere slowly and the only reason why most of us are watching is because we're hoping for something awesome to happen, but dont give up hope yet, anything could happen, we just have to trust that mike and bryan know what they're doing

I sort of agree with you on the whole "lacking depth" part. I like a well developed story in depth and having a good insight on characters. I really hope that in LOK we see more of that, but for obvious reasons it'll probably lag in that area. Oh well.

As of now the storyline is a bit shaky, I agree with you on that. I know exactly how you feel about the animation. I felt the same way before the series started by you just sort of get used to it over time. I mean, at least I did.

Well, let's look back at ATLA.
Episode 5: The King of Omashu.
At this time we were introduced to characters like Suki and Bumi. The only stories going on were Zuko's hunt to find the avatar, Aang's quest to the Northern Water Tribe, and the mystery towards Katara's mother's death. That's all.
Now, in Korra, there's Korra trying to stop Amon, Korra attempting to learn airbending, The Probending competitions, the relationships between the characters, and now, the mystery as to who Yukone is, and how Aang dealt with him. Maybe even the story of who Tenzin was dating before Pema.
I'd say Korra has a bit more storylines to it at this time, thus more deaph. Plus, I really don't see what you're all complaining about. The new series is amazing.

I personally feel that because we love ATLA our judgement of the show may be altered in either a good way or a bad way.
1. We've had such high expectations as a result of ATLA, that we feel nothing can compare & some even feel that a sequel/ another part of the saga, as Nick calls it, isn't need.
2. We're just overjoyed by the fact that they continued the story and we have deep love and respect for the creators that we just love the show regardless.
That's my 2 cents.

But seriously, the show is fantastic, and anyone could see that.
Example:
I overheard a girl at school (a senior in high school) talking about how "Avatar is so stupid. I don't see how anyone could watch it." Immediately, I was like "WHAT DID YOU SAY ABOUT AVATAR?!" So, since we had computors in the class, and our teacher was out the whole week, I set up the first episode of Korra for her, and she said "Ew, I don't want to watch Avatar," but I convinced her after much nagging. Now, this is someone who has NEVER seen the original series or anything Avatar at all. She just heard about it from other people and from commercials. After just the first episode, she was crazy for it and aggressively asked me to find the next one, and the next one, and so on. I said to her " don't want to watch Avatar, huh?" She replied "Yeah, well, it's just so good!" Now she regularly watches each premier.
So, tell me The Legend of Korra isn't good. Of course, it's your opinion, but just about everyone else who has seen it knows that The Legend of Korra is just about the greatest series to grace television since, well, Avatar: The Last Airbender.

lol, calm down I never said I didn't like it, I was just pointing out the two different points of view of the show.

Now, your evidence is only the point of view of one individual. I too, have people in my school who don't like ATLA/TLOK, watched it and still thought it was stupid. I just depends on the person, so your argument is kind of invalid. Yes, they're are a lot of people that like ATLA but there aren't as many that like LOK, that's for sure. It's not just the fact that it's a new show, even some of the original fanbase of ATLA don't like the new show. (Like I pointed out in my previous comment. )

I agree, but maybe over time there will be more character development. We just have to give it time.
Just don't start hoping that LOK will amount to ATLA because it just won't and people keep having this false hope that it will be just like ATLA when it will just never be. They're two different shows for a purpose. Yes, they may both be good shows but the story, characters, etc is different, for the most part.

I'M ABSOLUTELY LOVING LOK but ATLA has worked hard to gain its reputation and LOK will have to do the same(since it is a show of its own), like i said before its too early to expect anything 'GREAT' from LOK, but there will be.

Uh, the episodes are the same length as ATLA episodes...
They're both around 24-27 min if you exclude commercials.

I've asked around a lot about TLOK and realized that people who weren't such big fans of ATLA said that ATLA was better than Korra... But people who are die hard fans of ATLA say that They..... LOVE...... TLOK. (Korra)
I mean I know 7 people that watch it.... 3 who are just people that kinda watched ATLA when they were younger and liked it (the people who thought Korra wasnt sooo good) and I know 4 people who loved ATLA (could atleast name characters) those are the people that Love Korra ASWELL...

*what about the faceloss of amon? It is a lie to keep people from making him take off the mask and finding out that he is hiroshi sato, he made it as if it was too traumatic for him to let other people see his face while gaining more popularity.

remember ATLA season 2 episode 7(zuko alone), yeah well i did speculate that the kid he stayed with on the farm was amon but then i was wrong. It couldnt have been zuko not even by accident. But as dre said everyone is entitled to their own opinion. So u could be right

If you didn't notice, Hiroshi is a heavy set man. Amon is not. Besides the obvious fact that their voices are completely different. I mean really.

and how you said the episodes seem longer, they're actually the same length whether you want to admit or not. The only difference is so many things are crammed into a LOK episode that it feels shorter, but I promise you, it's not.

Anyway, can't people just stop trying to figure out who Amon is? Can't we just wait and see? Why is everyone always trying to leak the new episode/ screen shots etc. Just let things be. You might actually be happy you waited and didn't try to figure things out.
