I'm sorry if you're actually angry, but I need support, man!!!! I'm hardcore Makorra (and it's only been three episodes) and the other thing with Amon... well, that's just shocking...

Dont worry Jojo , It doesnt even make sense for an airbender to be Amon....and im more of a Kolin or Borra type of guy. Bolin totaly deserves her since he saw her first....leave Mako for Asami (Sato) just like your pictures....

Yeah, Borra is kinda cute. Honestly, though, I think I'll be happy with any ship as long as it's written well.

And the reason I was so freaked out about the Amon thing is:

1. Most of the screen shots we've seen with Amon show him with gold eyes, not gray like that airbender's.

2. The only airbender in the last hundred years beside Tenzin was Aang, and he should be dead in order for Korra to be around

3. The fact that Amon's face IS Aang's is pretty obvious. And not just because it's an airbender. If you pay attention in the opening sequence, Aang has a beard just like that.

Lastly, a lot of people have been speculating Amon has something to do with Koh the Face Stealer. Could be possible that Amon is working for/with Koh. As to the reason...

I, KOHFACE, approves of Koh and Amon working together, (or being the same person).... but u didnt here from me....

I had a theory very early on that when Aang died, it was his avatar spirit that died and was reincarnated in Korra and that Aang was actually alive in hiding. If this IS real, I hope it's a dream of Korra's.

amon could be the old airbender dude who is actually aangs only non-bender son(bumi or kuzon or whatever his name was doesnt matter) that is why he knows how to energy bend aang must have taught only him how to do it because he was aangs only non-bending child. just a thought

Here's a new theory of mine:
IF that image is real, then I think Amon might be in alliance with Koh. When Amon was telling the story of how he lost his family, maybe it was Koh he was talking about when he said "He stole my face." Now, back to the image: Maybe Koh lets Amon borrow any of his faces to appear as anyone, so in this case, he took the face of an airbender and is maybe trying to get someone, most likely Korra's, support, maybe into tricking her to think he is Aang. Since the physical world allows bending, and the spiritual one does not, I think Amon's goal is to blurr the line between the physical and spirit world to release all evil spirits to cause chaos.
I think that would be the best idea to get from that image. I don't want to believe that Amon's Aang, because I'd hope the creators stick to the rules of reincarnation.
I can imagine the series finale taking place in the spirit world. Would be awesome.

And because Korra lacks the spiritual savyness, I can definitely see a plot line very influenced with interactions with the spiritual world and her trying to understand it. Aang's conflict was not really in the spirit world because he had the Fire Nation to worry about.

I mean, the Avatar is the bridge between two worlds and has to keep balance in both. What if there's something wrong in the spirit world? Maybe that could explain someone like Amon running around and his potential involvement with Koh.

In addition, Aang's trips to the spirit world were pretty frequent, and he could enter it at 12. Korra's 17 and probably doesn't even know about the Avatar State yet, let alone the spirit world.

I'm loving this show more and more!!!!!!

But honesty, I will start attaching spoiler warnings on any more that I find. They're all over tumblr. Like, I was looking at someone's tumblr and that Asami and Mako picture showed up, and I was "Wow! Not cool!" and there was that Amon picture five minutes later and I was like, "Great. There's go the element of surprise."

But I know there are some people who like knowing things ahead of time, and since this website hasn't been getting updated very frequently, I thought, "Hey, maybe I'll post the links for people to see."

But to answer your question, just follow fellow Korra fans on tumblr if you want to stay in the loop. Especially deviantart people. They're a wealth of information. And produce very good fanart

I dont follow anybody on anything, so no thankyou to tumblr....but yes, please right SPOILER ALERT....I mean I wasn't that angry with the older Gaang picture ( )
because it reveal anything in the storyline....But the picture with Asami and unmasked Amon do make me speculate before the episode premieres. It pumps me up for every Saturday but I just wanna behave like a little kid and scream when I see the actual thing on the actual TV, not a still of the episode. I want the whole thing at once...

I really hate how all these leaks are coming out : ( The episodes are not that far away..people need to be more patient and stop ruining the show. And yes you guys should put a spoiler alert just in case somebody clicks it.

I watched the fourth episode as well and it was good! The only think that bugs me is the whole Asami & Mako thing. (I'm with Makorra all the way) The part with Ikki and the watertribe council men had me rollin though!

I really thought it was sad how Korra was asked how Avatar Aang would handle the situation by a reporter. This is the first episode as well that she feels an actual connection to Aang (you know, other than her staring at the statue). I'm so curious as to what that situation was that Aang had to face when he was 40. I think it could possibly relate to Amon.
Oh, yeah, and woah, Amon. He has a point in not wanting to take Korra's bending so soon. If he did, benders from all over the world would revolt against him. But that just makes me wonder... what IS his plan?!

If he really want to eliminate "all" benders he just need Avatar Korra to be, you know, THE Avatar, I mean... glowing eyes and using the four elements at the same time because if he kills Korra in the Avatar State, then there wont be anyone to bring balance to the world so, Probably that could mean the end for all benders!

in ATLA series, Avatar was "dead" for 100 years, the world was out of balance, but there was a lot of benders.

yes you are right in LOK we dont have oversized eyes, ultra long colorful hair, and some other aspects related to japanese anime, but character/history development is much more close to it then traditional connectionless episode based animation

Seeing how the flashback focuses on Aang, Sokka, Toph and another fourth character who looked pissed. Maybe he could be Amon, that would explain Aangs sudden attack and the reason they only focused on the characters eyes.
