Yahoo! Movies just debuted two, that's right, two beautiful new posters for
The Last Airbender! Click on the images below to enlarge.
In other news, Frank Marshall announced that the Super Bowl TV spot and the next trailer have been locked. The trailer will feature all the main characters and will debut with Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief on February 12th.

My god, what a great day. Slept in till 11, got up, turned on my computer, founded out there's going to be an Avatar: The Last Airbender Art Book. Freaked out for a while, then I came here and saw these, freaked out some more. I may not survive to the premiere. My heart simple can't take it. :P

Looking good on the new posters. I am also glad to hear more about the coming trailer. 2 minutes of goodness with all main characters represented should help sway viewiers to wanting to see this movie.
I hope we get some good shots of each character and not simply "flashes" of incomprehensible visuals (yes, I know we will invariably get that anyway). It would be a good job, indeed, if they found a way to bring out the characters a bit in the trailer, but that might just be a pipe dream. Anyway, superbowl is not all that far away, so just sit tight and hold on!

After seeing how much epic is already used, I swore I wouldn't say it. But whatever! E...P...I...C.
I like Aang's poster more than Zuko's, but it's overwhelming just the same. If that's how the bending is going to look, awesome! I love how Aang's air and/or water is flowing up his arm and Zuko's firebending is consuming and edgy. The fire's just how I always pictured it would be: a fireball burning on his hand like it did in so many episodes.

to Madame_Butterfly my bad i got confusd i thort the swamp ep was in book 1 he gets new 1s in book 2 in the swamp ep. he has but loses them in book 1 the blue spirit ep after Aang saves him but dsnt grab the swords.

The commercial edit is complete. It will air during the Super Bowl sometime during the first or second quarter.
The trailer will debut sometime later in Feb. Probably with Percy Jackson.

Percy Jackson comes out on Feb. 12 which is my birthday! Yay. The only reason im going to go see it is for the trailer. after the trailer i might as well just walk out of the theatre
