The trailer makes it look really well done. Very epic just like "Avatar: the Last Airbender" was. A villain that wants to eliminate bending should create a lot of drama and adventure.

That villain is just jealous cuz he can bend! As a kid, all the cool kids were showing off their awesomeness and was like "look what I can do!" Probably got picked on in kindergarden by benders and had the rock-wedgy and even the nerdy bender picked on him. Aw man I wonder how he would look "chibi" version? I wonder how Korra and the others would look "chibi" version? That would be so freakin adorable! :) chibi Meelo awwww!

Anyway, I did like this little trailer. Korra does sound kind of weird to me, but I guess that's okay since she's 17. it's kind of neat that I'm the same age as korra!

Amon seems like he's going to be way more interesting than fire lord ozai...

Just finished watching it. IT WAS AMAZING! It got a bit sad at times, especially when the old gaang was mentioned, but overall, GREAT!
Only problem is... I WANT MORE! XD
I also just loved how Jinora was dyeing to know what happened to Zuko's mom.

Anyways, good episode. Lived up to my expectations. For all those waiting to watch it, your in for a good show! :D

So, I gave in and watched it. I loved it!
I was so concerned that the show was too modern, I would miss the old charcters etc. But I had nothing to worry about. Mike and Bryan did know wht they were doing. Now, I cannot wait till the following episodes!
This series is gonna be good!!

Yeah that part irked me. But now it makes me wonder if they will ever tell us what happened with Zuko and his mom. Because it seems like they won't ,or maybe they will just later on in the series. Hopefully that's what happens.

Yeah, I noticed that. But it's better than nothing. I guess Nick realized that people were capable of seeing the first episode and took it down.
If anything just watch it again on the air date, which is what I'm going to do anyway.

Basically, someone figured out that the episode was on the korra press website and guessed a simple password and got in. Then the person shared the info with the internet and the rest is history...

But the original site that had it took it down. But it' too late because at this point most likely thousands of people have already downloaded it and placed on other sites where it can be watched.

That statue of Toph outside of that building that Chief Bei Fong and Korra is at is pretty interesting. Makes you wonder how the other of Aang's gang looks.

Episode 2 comes out when the show officially airs. Either on the 14th of April or (online) on the 24th of March.

this is not what avatar is about it was in an old age with simple people and medium sized ceties except for the earth capital

No one know's who it was exactly. The individual just found the press website and found out you could watch the first episode and shared the link with other people who shared it with other people etc.

I understand your concerns but saying that this is not what avatar is about is kinda absurd.
Are you saying everything should stay the same? How would that be interesting? We've already seen most of the avatar world through Aang's adventures, we need something new...completely new.
The avatar world is in fact a WORLD just like ours. It will make advances in technology and other areas and learn from the past. Progression is a part of life. Nothing can stay the same forever, change is inevitable.
You feel just how every other fan felt when we first found out about the changes in the series. Just give it some time, I'm sure it will grow on you. And if not, then that's fine,too. Don't like it don't have to watch it.

You think wrong. VERY wrong. The first episode was AMAZING! I love how fresh the enviorement in the new series is. Sure, Avatar: The Last Airbender was set in an era before an industrial revolution takes place, but that doesn't mean it should stay that way. Time happens. Avatar: The Last Airbender was a masterpiece of story telling, and now in Korra, the old show is becoming a piece of history.
