UGO brought us the exclusive 30 second Super Bowl Spot for The Last Airbender! There's lots of bending and fighting, as well as some Avatar State action. Also, keep your eyes peeled for Appa! Check it out:
Hei guys I don't know if this was already mentioned but what do you think the part where we can see appa and Aang just standing watching the fight I tought maybe he is in the spirit world..

Yeah, maybe Roku is showing Aang to what happen to the SAT, meaning, that Sky Bison ain't Appa. Though Appa surely looks like that.

I think it's more of a dramatic scene where Aang is desperately looking around and assessing the situation and realizing that this is more than he can handle. How about that?

That scene from SOTN came to mind when I saw that. You remember where Aang said something along the lines of "There's just too many...I'm only one kid"? I think that pan across the screen is a good way to build dramatic effect.
This is all just speculation, of course. I could be completely off.
i know this is a bit off topic, but i just saw the posters up for TLA on espn.com.. it's cool to see that they're pulling out the big guns in advertising. im really excited for this movie.. i hope it does well and we get to see the next 2 for sure.

@Issac Whether the movie is good or bad the worst thing that can happen is that it doesn't make money and stalls at the first movie.
It'd break my heart if this became another ERAGON, GOLDEN COMPASS or THE DARK IS RISING.

I totally agree with your point and I too REALLY want this to be a franchise translated to live-action that doesn't release only the first installment of a series.
Off topic But hopefully it's shaping up in post-production really well. As for those test screening reviews, the part about TLA feeling like the first Narnia movie calmed my worries because that movie lived up to most aspects fans could want in a Narnia live action movie. Plus........they're in the process of the THIRD Narnia movie for a December release. All this tells me is that a reviewer ranked TLA on par with a fantasy movie franchise which was SUCCESSFUL and RECEIVED SEQUELS!!!!!
@: KikoLirioBrazil: I don't think that Aang was bending earth in that scene because in book one he wasn't shown bending earth unless he is in the avatar state

hey guys i really need some help. So... i'm a creater of The Last Airbender Movie' in a forum. There's this guy that keep insulting what i posted and updates about the movie.
The last comment that he said is "Meh, the trailer looks lame. But it's better than the first one. The part where Aang's eyes glow is !@#$, he looks like he's drunk."
I really think that we need to teach this guy a lesson. I'm completely alone in that thread.
@ sara : let just hope after this night we get the full 2 minutes trailer...hehe....
and where is zuko?i mean zuko in action..we just see the blue spirit (blurry image tho)...in the ESPN also just showing the same image like the 30 sec trailer....

I don't really know if everyone noticed but have you seen that benders use different costums and clothes? Look at the water tribe soldiers and the benders from the boat and Pakku, look at the fire nation soldiers(helmet, spear...) and to the firebender(the guy rolling in the ground has the same type of clothes).
It seems to me that they're identified.
I also found out curious that the waterbending scene, when Pakku bends the water, he makes a type of shield so that he doesn't get wet when the water passes throw him.

you know how aang is fighting all the firebenders ( right after ' 'Appa' ' ) well i think he is fighting at the air temple. i stopped it right in front of an airbender simbol. mabe he was there when the firebenders attacked the tempol ???
but i could be wrong. it was hard to see.

the symbol is small, close to the ground when aang blows ( in a circle ) away the firebender.
you can see it when he paused for a second.
but i could be wrong still. its just an observation.
So I heard people mentioning that the theatrical trailer won't be leaked early? That sucks I was rather hoping that it would be... Any idea how long after the Percy Jackson film's release it will take before the new trailer will emerge online? Hopefully not long... I was planning on going to see the film just for the trailer but I figured I can wait at least a day or two. Not spending money on a film I won't even want to watch. Unless I can borrow someone's ticket quickly and after I've seen the trailer bring it back out and then they can go in and see the film.
@Danni - Nah that's defiantly the NWT. They're Waterbenders around him and there's snow on the floor.
Still sticking to firebenders not being able to create fire. I know it sounds gay but it just makes more sense. Would rather see firebenders just bursting out fireballs left, right and center and I know it's only a 30 second trailer but try counting all the fire nation soldiers. Why would there be that many (Especially the ones in battle) and none of them are firebending? Maybe Shymalans planning on making benders rare. So there are only a few in each nation that can bend the elements.
Oh and I wish everyone would stop telling us to chillax with the speculations. It's what's keeping me going until the next trailer. I'm not fusing over details like Sokka having a longer pony tail or clothing but more important aspects of the film.

Danni: that's in the NWT, those are water tribe warriors and that arquitecture artwork is from the water tribe. There's one pic where Aang is in a bridge with his staff
@whatever I don't think either I just thought aang was kicking air into the sand, making it fly up. But seeing the earth guy position, i saw he's really bending earth

I dont know the Brige could be apart of NAT. I'm just stoked to see SM interperatation. I know it will be slightly diffrent but that is the excitting part. Just Stoked for the movie. I do like your speculations though its kind of cool to listen to others opinions/ideas.

Anywaysssss I think the full trailer will have epic music. They just put Rock music for the drunk football fans... Expect to see some EPIC music the 2 minute trailer.

To everyone that is still wavering about whether the firebenders can make their own fire, take a look at the poster with Aang (Ringer) and Zuko (Patel).
I don't know if anyone's pointed this out....but you can see fire in Zuko's hand, which could possible mean that they make their own fire.
that's just my thought though.

Did anyone else notice that the angry Firebender does a lot of spinning and "bending-like" moves before the fire actually bends? There's a cutaway before we actually see the fire coming toward the Earthbender.

Fledge I agree. We will never know if they can produce fire by themself (proboly not until the next trailer), but I think that it would make the fire nations look alot weaker if they can not produce fire

Have anyone noticed that Aang's iceberg is just to small to fit him and Appa? Probably Shyamalan let the bisons not to be extinct and Aang founds one in the air temple just like Momo. I also wondered how did a lemur survived by himself and alone since he can't be 100 years old in the show(it's not logic). So, Shyamalan may have invented that the only the airbenders were killed and that their ecosistem survived...)
