Yahoo! Movies just debuted two, that's right, two beautiful new posters for
The Last Airbender! Click on the images below to enlarge.
In other news, Frank Marshall announced that the Super Bowl TV spot and the next trailer have been locked. The trailer will feature all the main characters and will debut with Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief on February 12th.

I don't know what's more fun: the first moment I saw these sweet new posters and spaz'd out or reading all the hilarious comments people are posting. Is "jizzing" in one's pants a new term out on the language market? I've never heard it before, but several people used it here.

I 100% love the art direction they went with for TLA.
As for some dissing the element portrayals, keep in mind these posters probably weren't made by ILM and are only still shots. My guess is that M. Night wanted a realistic approach to the look of the elements but I do hope the actual bending forms aren't butchered. Aang's airbending in the teaser trailer was SOOOOO perfect. Now all I want to see is Nicola's waterbending really badly

On a different note,
Any one notice they are still using the vague "summer 2012" release date instead of the July 2, 2010 official US release?
Could this have anything to do with the aptly named movie coming out on June 30th?
Is it possible that Marshall is considering delaying the release?
Or that it will have to be delayed because of ILM, like the trailer?
Do I sound like the narrator for older cartoons when I ask all these questions?

Yooo aang and zuko look bad ass...loving the bending...i knew it would look hot...can't wait for the trailer and the movie to hit...but one thing is buggin me...even though i'm loving the anng and zuko pics,its seems like they only showing them two, i wanna see some pics of katara and sokka too...lol other then that once again cant wait for this movie...

Will toph be featured as well or does it only include the characters of book one: water?

The Promotional Posters looks so so so good!!
I think Aang's poster looks better as a whole with the temple in the background and the airbending but Zuko just looks amazing!! OH MAN!! I'm so excited to see this movie right now and I'm 19!! I agree that all I need to see now until the movie comes out (other than the trailer) is Appa and Momo... That would just top it off.
I would pay for the Movie ticket to just see the Avatar Theatrical Trailer but I mean I guess if your dishing out $12 you might as well watch the movie too.
M. Night Shamalan is a god!
P.s. Zuko's hair looks freaking sweet!! Everyones saying it looks weird but it is very zuko all scruffy. Would of been amazing to see him with the shaved head and top knot but still I think overall I'm pleased with his appearance!

These posters are kindof lame.... Aang's airbending effects look like smoke
shouldn't it be more like a 'wind' effect? I'm assuming it won't look like that in the movie tho!

I must be one of the few who really doesn't like the bending. Look at that airbending, it's smoke, it's almost fine, ok let's go to the other poster then... SHIT! look at that firebending! Is just not real, such a fake! GOD!
Although, Zuko's scar is very cool, their outfits are nice, The air temple is awesome! I like the fire nation navy but I'm afraid that they won't really fit on the artwork of the rest of the movie because they look to much futurestic or something like that.
I really enjoyed the details on Aang's staff

I love the air temple in the Aang poster, it definitely respects the art from the show.
also, the "in theaters summer 2010" thing is kind of like Asian writing... just sayin.
i wasn't decided weather i wanted to see Percy Jackson but now i will definitely see it. i will probably watch the trailer online a million times still, but nothing compares to seeing it on the big screen.
