before aang is in the avatar state. if you look at the big circle he is standing on you can see air bender symbols !
its maybe that he is at the southern temple. or he could be at the northern temple ( like in the series ) when he helps the people defend the temple , because they live there now.
what do you guys think ?

Yes, well i see the airbender simbols, but it makes more coherency if he gets in avatar state just at the final fight, I want to see him transformed in the water spirit/mobster who takes zhao jeje. Also, do you know if this movie is gettin in 3D? just asking

I'm not sure if it is going to be in 3D. but if the movie is a really big hit , then i don't see how they can't make it into a 3D movie.
i know i'm going to be there ,at the premere, with the biggest size in popcorn ! ! !
i'm sure everyone else on this site will go to see it on the first night it's in the movies ! ! !

I just watched the trailer in 1080p, and I know everyone has been mentioning the blue spirit thing, but it wasn't until just now that I actually saw it myself- and let me just say, I really REALLY hope that's not him, because that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen in my entire life. I don't even know how to describe how obnoxious that looks... he looks like a gorilla or something? Idk, granted I've only really seen 2 seconds of his back, but I clicked through the frames he was in and couldn't find one shot that was the least bit flattering... or rather, un-gorilla-ish.

I want to mention something. Not sure if it's been pointed out, but, in the first scene with the boats, look up at the top left, up on the cliff side. There appears to be a huge ice wall and ice towers running along the edge of the cliff. My eyes kept darting to the boats at first, which was how I kept missing it.
As for the Blue Spirit. We don't see his face -- AT ALL in the clip, so those who are worried, chillaxe a bit. I'm sure it'll come together nicely.

Also, I want to add this. Everyone keeps saying that the person in front of the iceburg has to be either Katara or Sokka, but it's obviously the BOTH of them.

for everyone not seeing them, they are hidden by the cliff before the camera pans right, then they are revealed for like a half a second. but they are there, there is no question about that.

Yeah, if TLA doesn't become a trilogy I'm gonna be massively p#%&ed off!!! As Cash Bailey said a few pages ago, "It'd break my heart if this became another ERAGON, GOLDEN COMPASS or THE DARK IS RISING." (None of those fantasy series turned movies stood a chance at the box office). So yeah, with the Super Bowl ad, random moviegoers, the Twilight fans pulling for Rathbone, M. Night's fan base, Nickelodeon's fans, the show's fan base and of course.......LAST AIRBENDER FANS, I trust that the movie will pull through at the box office and tell those dumb racebenders that they wasted their time with their so called *boycott*.

Honestly i don't think we have to worry about that with TLA. I mean almost anyone you talk to has at least heard of the show, unlike those other ones which i didn't hear about until the movies came out. And really just cause it's such a different type of story, like Eragon was just dragons, as good as the book may have been, it's not like we haven't heard dragon stories before. TLA has such an original mythology and story, it's really never been done before

aaahh!! i just realized. the picture of zuko in front of the fire with not visible scar is probably him in the council room with iroh right before he gets his scar!!!
Okay Appa is in the upper left hand corner for a few seconds time is 0:09 and 0:10 it looks awesome I saw this on a big screen T.V. during the super bowl and this movie will be amazing I am sorry to say I have some doubts but my expectations are still high for the film and M. Night Shymalan is a great director I'm sure that it will be great but seeing this Kid Noah Ringer playing Aang I just dont know he seems awesome but I just dont know yet and sokka and katara well they just seem ehhh. I will wait for an actual trailer and hopefully we will see more and hopefully hear the actors speak and how they portray their characters. All we can do is hope and pray. This movie will be awesome!

And for random comments saying Dev Patel is an "ugly" Zuko........W.T.F.?????????? OK, the portrayal of Zuko is so important as he is an extremely complex and vital character of TLA. They cast a trained, experienced, well liked, and well known actor as Zuko and all you can do is whine that he is UGLY. Dev Patel is awesome and that one SWT pic was possibly unflattering with him in grouchy Zuko mode or something. Dev did fantastic in Slumdog Millionaire and will be an amazing Zuko. Sorry but there always seems to be a comment about how Dev will "suck" at Zuko because he is not their standard of good looking. Get a life.

Ummm, i just read the review of the screening in Pheonix and wow they didnt like the movie all that much :( One okay review and one hateful review.
I hope TLA is good....the negativity depressed me tonight and im honestly not sure about this movie like i was 20 min ago. M. Night, please prove the critics wrong.

@ironhide: Kung i-eere ng both stations ang TLA, grabe, I don't think na makakaya kong maghintay ng hanggang July 21 thinking na in other countries, they're already enjoying it. Either way, we're still lucky coz in some countries, TLA would not air till August.
And yeah, I do hope and pray for God that this movie hits success. I don't care if Eclipse is going to overshadow it, I just want it to be successful to the extent that they can make a sequel. I'm pretty sure the sequel will be an official blockbuster hit if the first one succeeds.

How many characters are going to make it in this movie I wonder? I hope Jun the bounty hunter, Teo and his father, Jet and his gang, the nuns, Aunt Wu, Meng, Bato, and the Cabbage man make it, but then it will make for a long movie, but it would be nice. But there is one scene I hope thay put in and would give everyone a good laugh. The mad mail system slide at Oamshu with Katara and Sokka. OMG that kills me every time
