UGO brought us the exclusive 30 second Super Bowl Spot for The Last Airbender! There's lots of bending and fighting, as well as some Avatar State action. Also, keep your eyes peeled for Appa! Check it out:
To the person who made a comment about "ugly dev" complaints...
I've read lots of complaints about the actors including but not limited to dev, but haven't seen any calling him ugly... Are you referring to my comment about the blue spirit in this trailer? I wasn't calling dev ugly, in fact I find him pretty attractive (I love him in slumdog... Mmm) I was just saying that the blue spirit (if that's actually him) in this trailer looks ridiculous beyond comparison. Or if you weren't referring to me, well nevermind then.

Actually, the blue spirit is awesome looking, Think about it, you would never guess that primitive and dual wielding sworded guy was zuko if u were the fire nation.
And 'bloodbender', I need to see the other two movies for 3 reasons. 1) Azula 2) Toph 3) Final battles (epic as shit)

i will officially stop searching Avatar after the 2nd trailer.. too many spoilers pop up... not to mention the hype for only 2 HOURS OF MY LIFE... plus there is a chance that the movie might not be good.. but enough with the skepticism skepticism skepticism... (Avatar Abridged reference)

it is awsome that the people here like avatar just as much as i do. the people here actually know what im talking about.

Sorry for the off topic but, Shyamaln will certainly put bloodbending in the movies and he won't make like in the show, that the waterbenders can only use this tecnic during the full moon... That's so stupid man!

Someone commented the movie since they were one of the people in Arizonia who got tho see it and said the movie was more on a Narnia level than a star wars level. Which i guess is okay since narnia was nominated for oscars.
OMG! When I watched this during the superbowl, I was screaming and rolling around on the sofa. My parents were like O.o But hey, they even thought the trailer was amazing!!!

Also, on the firebending thing, I'm sure they can create their own, it would make it easier for Night to direct. Could you imagine every fighting scene with a firebender needing a lamp or torch or something "coincidental" near the fighting scene. And why would they use some sort of tool to create the fire themselves? It sounds cool, but it'd be really ineffective in battle. *Zuko attacks Aang, but his firelighter match thingy goes out. "Wait! Hold on a minute! I need to relight my---" Aang sends him flying into the ocean.* See what I mean?

Hm about the fire thing, if they can' create their own, its no big deal, they can have a flint built into their armor and create a spark easily enough and bend that.

i think people should wait for the 2min trailer on thurs to judge the movie. mabe they some do make their own fire but only masters or people that have practiced for years can do it.
you'll never know until u see the 2min trailer.

If people think the movie will tank because of the Superbowl Spot, then they need to get over themselves and realize for starters..........it was 30 SECONDS of a 1-2 hour movie. And if it was the music that turned them off, whether JNH composed it or not doesn't matter because it WASN'T THE THEACTRICAL TRAILER'S MUSIC!!!!! The real trailer will come along and most of who got turned off will fall in love with the movie again.

the super bowl trailer was made to reach out and get views that like action ( the action music ).
the new trailer might have the correct music that avatar fans will like.
mabe a trailer will come out later that will be all about emotion or just the bending and mabe one about the war or even one about the scary parts in the movie.
the different trailers are out there to get more then just the avatar fans.
personally i loved the trailer for the super bowl, it fit the mood of a big football game.

If you go to the links in the newest article about toys, it indeed proves that the Blue Spirit was in there.
yaay ^^ it does look really cool but Appa's got no arrow. It's not that important specially for we saw it in the trailer already. The only ones I'm missing there are Iroh, Suki and Katara but it looks very great =)

@RockinDMG Thanks man, I totally see what people are talking about! And upon further inspection I notice that the scene has stone buildings which is different from the ice of the north pole. That's probably when the blue spirit busts him outta jail! SWEET that episode is by far my favorite.

I dont think that the casting is right. I mean I saw the WHOLE Avatar anime series and Katara is BLACK and so is the rest of the water tribe!! I think you should hire more asian and black actors!

Guys ....this movie will the 2nd biggest of the year (sorry Iron Man has returning fans). It looks amazing. I hope its not too dark cause then kids might not like it. I know the slap stick humor has been removed to make the characters more adult and less juvenile.
