New Photo with Zuko, the GAang, and Mystery Earthbender?

Someone on the forums over at
Herr-Der-Elemente.de seems to have gotten their hands on a new rough promotional photo featuring Aang, Zuko, Sokka, Katara, and a mystery Earthbender? Who could it be?

UPDATE: Frank Marshall has said this image is a fake. But, how much of it is fake? I mean, the studio did ask me to take it down...

This looks excellent, especially the waterbending. Is that Bumi, nelson? I guess so because that looks like Omashu behind him.

I must admit, this looks pretty cool. I that earthbender looks suspiciously like Long Feng. The firebending looks cool, and it looks like Katara's using tai chi for waterbending. All in all, this is pretty good.

Well, Iroh is skinny, Zuko is Indian, and Zhao has no Zhaoburns. So I think the mystery Earthbender being Bumi is still pretty possible.

To be honest, I could see it being a random earth bender.
Since earth is barely touched on in the first season. I don't know about Bumi. Seems like a big mistake to introduce him. and especially not as an old person.
I'm guessing that it's Haru. Since he returns later in Season 3 to fight in the invasion.
I don't know...guess is as good as mine. Maybe it's a whole other random character.

The earth bender guy looks sexy! That pic makes me want to be an earth bender! I hope he's not Bumi because then I will feel weird and creepy for thinking that about a one hundred something year old guy! Speaking of creepy, Aang looks creepy, but in a super cool M.Night way. Snuggie...lol. The water bending picture looks awesome on all levels. It's nice to see a pulled back shot with full water nation costume. Very realistic looking. And Zuko...the fire...oh my pants! Epically freaking amazing!!! WOOT!

Hehe, sorry for throwing down 3 comments... But it looks like air is carrying the rocks. Hopefully it's just dust or something? Cause, isn't earth bending straight up bending the movements of earth, and not having air carry it?? Hope it doesn't look this way in the movie. Other than that, everything looks awesome.

Maybe (like having 'The Boulder' in the intro of the show) it's just a place-holder so they can show all four bending styles in the promo art.
And they'd be nowhere near casting Toph yet for the second film. Or any of the earth-benders.

When I read that Shyamalan wanted to make a fantasy akin to Lord of the Rings. I never thought he wanted to make a fantasy version of Star Wars.
Ringer looks like a Jedi.
Patel looks even more like a Thuggee cultist. Perfect homage to Temple of Doom.
Peltz looks cute, like Barbie.
Rathbone does not look fifteen. Perfect for all those Twilight fans, who could care less about TLA.

considering Bumi is technically 112 (give or take) years old -I don't think they could truly cast anyone who realistically looks the right age. But Bumi is depicted to be in good shape. And I agree - that looks like Omashu. Could also just be a random Earthbender for evening out purposes (Can't have a four elements poster without four elements)

If that is Haru as the Earthbender. I guess there won't be the flirtation between him and Katara.
It would look sleazy for someone in their mid-twenties flirting with a girl who looks twelve years old.
Air - Like the whole picture except for Aang lol. The air bending looks sweet and so do the candles but Aang... Meh
Fire - Zuko looks sweet as!!!
Water - By far the coolest part of this poster! The water bending looks sick!!!
Earth - I would agree with Long Feng but Ba Sing Siemore than likely will be left out until the second film. So I'm going to go with the random Earth bender!
All in all looking good!

This earthbender doesn't look like Bumi, and since this is a movie of the first season, he can't be Long Feng... he might be that "Earthbending Father" character. ...Tyro?

i wish aang does smile a bit more. in the trailer and the photos so far it looks more like the aang from book 3 rather than the aang from book 1.

The elements are amazing! Dev is so much like Zuko, I dont care the face though. Noah will totally bring up Aang, no doubt. Nicola is prettiful she's totally digging Katara, and I love Rathbone as Sokka. The random Earth guy is probably someone to add in the Earth bending logo. :D

I'm impressed. There are some minor tweaks, though.
Air - I don't know if that's air that he's bending or if that's smoke from the candles. Either way on first glance it looks like lightning to me. And again, the outfit is too Shyamalan-y.
Fire - I sure hope that's Zuko because he looks kick butt awesome!!
He looks a tad old and a bit too muscley for Zuko, but I like the helmet and the hair.

Water: Holy crud scones (lol) that's amazing. Everything in this picture is perfect except on MINOR detail: Katara's arms are a little too straight. They remind me of all the dorky moves she does with straight arms like when she pulls down the snow on top of the Fire Nation Helmet at the Southern Air Temple in 103.
Earth - Well, I see some of you as being partially right, but who am I to make the decision!?
This looks to me as a combination of two cities: Ba Sing Se and the old run down ruins Aang runs through to get medicine for Katara and Sokka in 113. If you look closely in the middle of the ground in the large scenery section you can see what look like aqueducts like the ones they use to transport trains in Ba Sing Se. The large hill looks too vegetated to be Omashu, and it really looks like the Herbalist Institute's mountain. The buildings look like just regular earth kingdom buildings with the same boxy architecture.
The guy there I would assume is just a random earthbender. It would make sense seeing how in the series the earthbender in the intro was a random earthbender(I don't know if he's the boulder; I dont think so, but I could be wrong).
And don't you love how they just slapped the logo on there with no editing at all!? That surprises me.

PS, On closer looking I do believe that this firebender is quite obviously Dev.

Something's not right...
About the image's presentation, is it fan made? A cleverly made image done by a photoshop bender? From what i see it, the main title was just made centered in a box. Its very unusual for a promotional movie photo to be like that. Aang is just standing, no action pose? And the smoke that encircles aang is to big for his figure. Ow! i don't know.. well, kinda odd to me that's all.. Perhaps other more vivid picture would be more likely to convince me. Please do correct me if I'm wrong...
On the other hand.. hurray! Finally Katara and sokka! Who is that earthbender? I thought i've seen that pose in some movie poster before...

I wish there was one with a higher resolution. I agree with bloodbender, why would they slap the logo in the center like that? It looks a little unprofessional but maybe this is an unfinished version. I'm not sure.

It looks fan made to me. The smoke/air around Aang is just too fake and the logo ruins it.
Someone go ask Marshall and see if you can get a response. I'm not on Twitter so I don't know how.
